We Represent Us Limited Edition T-shirt Line
On June 7, 2021, Seed2Shirt and I launched We Represent Us. It is a limited edition sustainable t-shirt line produced through an all Black diaspora supply chain. This t-shirt line is:
•made fron organic small batch cotton grown by farmers in Burkina Faso
•sewn and processed at a carbon nuetral facility in Kenya
•printed by a Black woman owned shop in Georgia @sheprints.it
•with four designs by Black national & international artists @gocosmicninja @sagestargate @deevine.love @neals
We Represent Us is a reclaiming of cotton and sustainability. A celebration of Black art and heritage. A reminder that we can and are doing things differently now; trying to support alternative supply chains.
